About Copper Mountain

Copper Mountain sits at an elevation of 9,712 feet and has over 2500 skiable acres. Copper has three distinct villages that each provide a unique experience. The West Village is the ski school hub and is surrounded by family-friendly beginner terrain. The Center Village has intermediate terrain accessible via the American Eagle and American Flyer lifts. The Center Village also has popular shops and fantastic restaurants, giving Copper its unique ski resort feel. The East Village gives expert riders quick access to some of the more challenging terrain on the mountain.

The activities at Copper don’t just stop at skiing during the winter. Copper offers many events throughout the season, a tubing hill, The Rocky Mountain Coaster, uphill access, ice skating, and The Woodward Barn!

Copper Mountain falls into the Resort Zone of Unincorporated Summit County. A license is required to rent in the resort zone, but there is no cap on the number of licenses or the number of nights a property can be short-term rented for.
